I am the woman behind LITVA'S, Sandra Litva Moran, a Croatian-Canadian who moved to the U.S. in 2006 to marry the man of my dreams.
God gave me the gifts of creativity, passion, curiosity and touch of obsessiveness... which I like to call perfectionism.
I feel creativity comes from the soul.
I have always expressed my creativity through art and each of my careers have been rooted in it, from Ballerina to Hairstylist, but Jewelry Artist has consistently been a part of that expression - even when I was a little girl - it is simply a part of me - another extension of my creativity.
LITVA'S Jewelry is an eclectic collection of timeless pieces to be worn alone for a minimalist look or layered for a bolder statement.
I love variety, and I love color, which is why I work with many different materials in my pieces.

Peyote Stitch technique; I taught myself over 30 years ago... still one of my favorites! I am creating a pair of Blissful Earrings in a custom color pattern here. The pause in my stitching is me adjusting the pattern marker I am following; I sketch out my patterns onto beading graph paper and color it in with pencil crayons to help me fully visualize the pattern. I love simple patterns too, but the complex ones just take my breath away!
I recently came back to traditional Silk Knotting for its luxurious supple drape. I have my fingers wrapped with a special cloth-like tape to protect them from being injured while I pull the silk taught. The unique square heishi shape of these Smokey Quartz gemstones, gives such a fabulous texture to this necklace and they are so eye catching when layered with other shapes of gemstones and beads!
